James Fellowes – CEO
James has over 30 years experience in both the founding and operation of businesses, specializing in monetisation, operational strategies and executions.
He has provided investors with profitable exits in many, taking three companies from initial concept stage through to successful flotations, and taken others from start-up to successful trade sales. He has provided strategic advice to a number of companies.
Harry Triggs– Chief Product Officer
Harry has over 20 years experience in the design and manufacture of innovative and specialist light fixtures.
He graduated from Brunel University in Industrial Design Engineering and went on to study Architecture at UTS in Sydney, his career has spanned the US, Australia, Mexico and Europe, before settling in London to establish his own lighting manufacturing company. He has an extensive knowledge of new and existing lighting technologies and their application.
Dr Michael Urdang - Chief Medical Officer
A mix of physician and entrepreneur. Michael graduated from Imperial College and started his career in surgery, he then went on to complete his medical training in emergency medicine at LA county where he was honoured to be awarded Most Outstanding Graduating Resident.
He continues to be a practicing doctor as well as co-founding a number of health tech companies.
George D Skinitis– Chief Commercial Officer
A mechanical engineer, with over 25 years’ experience in the ship repair and conversion industry.
After a short seagoing career as an engineer, George worked for a leading ship repair and conversion shipyard in Hamburg, Germany, for over 15 years repairing and converting all types of vessels. He has extensive experience in the sale and supply of systems to the maritime industry.
Dr. Gurumurthy Ramachandran - Advisory Board
Dr. Gurumurthy Ramachandran is a professor in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and Director of the Johns Hopkins Education and Research Center for Occupational Safety and Health funded by the NIOSH. He has over 25 years of post-Ph.D. experience in occupational and environmental health. His area of expertise is in the measurement of airborne contaminants.
He has served as a member of the Board of Scientific Counselors to the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and advisory committees for the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). He is also serving on the editorial boards of the Annals of Work Exposures and Health, and the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene.
Dr. Bob Sarkany - Advisory Board
Dr Bob Sarkany is a dermatologist and an international authority on UV light and the skin. He is the Head of the Photodermatology Unit and of the National Xeroderma Pigmentosum Unit at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. His clinical practice and research programmes are centred around ultraviolet light and its impact on human skin and on human health.
His experience is in both the therapeutic applications of UV and the negative health impact of UV, particularly in photosensitivity and in inducing skin cancers.
He holds the following positions: Past Chair of the British Photodermatology Group; Trustee and Coordinator of Grants allocation for the British Skin Foundation; Advisor on UV light to the UK MHRA (Medicine and Healthcare Regulatory Authority).
